Hello, I am Julia, a freelance UX Designer and Art Director focusing on user-centered digital products and visual brand strategies. My brand name wild and creative derives from my birth name Wildförster and stands for creative solution diversity.
Since completing my training as a Media Designer Digital & Print in 2016, I have worked in creative agencies and have been self-employed for the past 4 years. During my time as Art Director at a social media agency in Düsseldorf, I conceptualized cross-channel campaigns that achieved measurable successes in reach and interactions – always in close team coordination.
Today I am a UX designer with a background in art direction. Since art direction required me to inspire users of products, which goes hand in hand with an understanding of design and customer needs. My strong skills in the conceptual development of digital products came in handy when I was working on social media releases for various brands. The success of various campaigns could be measured, for example, by the range, the increasing number of followers, or the interactions. These were worked out in a team, which is why communication with team members while working together is an important factor for me.
At the same time, I am passionate about photography. The beginnings of my photography were on my travels. Through Instagram, I received a lot of positive feedback and requests for shoots, so it developed all by itself so that photography became a side job. I shoot more intuitively, see that it runs naturally in portraits where the fun is in focus and a camera is just a tool that accompanies us during a beautiful afternoon.
I am constantly looking for exciting projects to get excited about. It is important to me to have a personal exchange at eye level with clients and project managers. In doing so, I want to work on projects where I can clearly see the progress and the project is successful in the end.
All in one: I love what I do!
